On Sunday, February 11, the young and old friends of the Cultural Association of Stavraki participated in a small seminar on “Making macramés with the macrame technique (theoretical and practical part)”, in view of the World Day against Childhood Cancer (February 15).
The tokens, which were created, were offered to the Ioannina branch of the Association of Parents of Children with Neoplastic Disease “Floga”.
“An action so different and so unique. An action that brought out such special emotions in all the participants, young and old. An action that wanted to combine the offering to fellow human beings and the effort to preserve the customs of our country. An action for Stavraki that attracted children and adults and proved that there are still people and most importantly that there are children with empathy”, states a joint press release of the Cultural Association of Stavraki and the “Flame” of Ioannina, with which thanks are expressed to all participants.
