“The feeling of Tet now is very different from the past. I always remember the subsidy period when the women in my family would line up to buy food such as seaweed leaves, meat, rice… there were times when we didn’t have lunch until 2pm, we still had to waiting for my turn. At that time, everyone was working hard so I didn’t feel miserable. When I was growing up, I also had to worry a lot. During Tet, the roads were crowded and traffic jams so I felt unhappy,” artist Quoc Tuan confided.

He added that on the morning of the 30th of Tet this year, father and son went out to the suburbs. Bom really enjoyed being able to go with his father. On Tet 30, the streets were quieter, so it was easier for father and son to move around. Tet in recent years, father and son have been much simpler. He sees this as a time to rest, then goes back to his usual busy routine.

Artist Quoc Tuan added, Bom has become a lot more mature this year, also cares about his father and seems to… like someone.

“He’s also very secretive, I know he’s in love and likes someone, that’s a natural and commendable thing. He also watches movies and likes to create avatars (wallpapers) on Facebook of some actors. Giao. My child’s progress is still not good, so I try to share with him to help him develop better,” Quoc Tuan shared.

The male artist said that he does not forbid his children, but he always teaches them to be civilized.

“I teach my children to care and share with the opposite sex. I instruct them to pay attention to every little thing, such as putting the dishes in the sink after eating, taking out napkins, and pouring water for dad.
