Hernán Barcos, current member of the squad and one of the most beloved players by the Alianza Lima fans, dedicated a message on his X account (formerly Twitter) for the 123rd anniversary of the sports institution.

The footballer born in Argentina, but nationalized Peruvian in December 2023, completes his third consecutive year as a player for the club this season, which he joined in 2021.

“123 years of GLORY, the greatest in Peru and the only TETRA CHAMPION of Peruvian soccer, congratulations to everyone Alianza and may this family continue to grow. The story speaks for itself. #arribaalianza”, Barcos posted on X.

Since arriving at Alianza Lima, Hernán Barcos has won two national titles, in 2021 and 2022.

He has also played in the Copa Libertadores with the club in 2022 and 2023.

The popular ‘Pirate’, who is also a businessman, has expressed on several occasions his desire to finish his sports career in the ‘intimate’ team.
