In an event held at the building of the Region of Epirus, the Governor of Epirus, Alexandros Kahrimanis, awarded the athletics team of the Athletic Gymnastic Association of Ioannina (AGSI) that won first place for 2023 in the field of classical sports.
SEGAS, taking into account the performances of athletes and teams in domestic and international competitions in 2023, ranked the Ioannina team in first place.
Mr. Kahrimanis presented an honorary plaque to the team administrator, Mrs. Fotini Angeli, congratulated the athletes and the coaches, wishing them always success, also mentioning that the Region is on their side supporting the sports part of Epirus. At the event was a delegation of sportsmen and women, with the administrator Fotini Ageli and the coaches Kostas Batso, Thanasis Tsigoulis, Nikolaos Nousia, Apollo Georgiou and Dimitra Tsili. They were also the deputy regional governors Vassilis Gorgolis and Haris Lazani.
The awards at AGSI continue, as on the evening of Friday 16/2 in an event that will take place in Athens, SEGAS will honor AGSI for winning first place by awarding the champion’s cup.
