Imagine living in a world where ideas become reality, civil organizations become agents of change, and the environment is kept clean in every populated place. Eight years ago, Vivacom and the Bulgarian Center for Non-Profit Law met the teams of Vivacom and the Bulgarian Center for Non-Profit Law, who to this day continue to support good ideas in small and large towns and villages.
The Vivacom Regional Grant initiative is not just a funding program – it is a program that believes in the power of the community and its ideas, which can change even the smallest settlement in Bulgaria. Together with its partners, in the completely renewed ninth edition, Vivacom is reimagining the way it supports local organizations and making it more effective than ever.
With the doubling of the grants from BGN 5,000 to BGN 10,000 and the increased total amount of BGN 100,000, the company provides more opportunities for civil organizations to develop their ideas and achieve more significant results in the education and environmental protection sector .
In this year’s ninth edition, the changes do not only affect the amount of grants. Vivacom further simplifies the application process, with organizations now only having to submit a one-page concept. In addition, an accelerator program is being introduced for the first time, which will help finalists develop their ideas and turn them into successful projects.
Vivacom Regional Grant continues to be committed to education and environmental protection. It is these two spheres that are the main engine of change and the key to the sustainable development of our communities.
Until February 18, civil organizations will have the opportunity to apply at www.vivacomfund.bg/regionalgrant/apply. As the most innovative and promising ideas, they will receive a grant of up to BGN 10,000 from Vivacom.
Thanks to the Vivacom Regional Grant, 108 projects of 98 organizations are currently supported, with the total value of the donations exceeding BGN 500,000. With the renewed ninth edition of the initiative, the total donation is expected to grow to over 600,000 BGN.
