A young resident of a village in Rakovski municipality, who stole the wallets of three Plovdiv women during the holidays, pleaded guilty and entered into an agreement with the prosecutor’s office for a lighter sentence. The day before Christmas Eve she took a lady’s leather purse with 3 grand in it. On December 26, she stole a wallet containing BGN 150. The last theft was the next day, and this time she managed to get BGN 350 and 70 euros.
The young pickpocket was caught by employees of the Fourth District Office with the help of their colleagues from Rakovski. When she was caught, she confessed to everything and returned part of the stolen amount.
After not denying it before the District Court in Plovdiv, the girl agreed to a 12-month conditional sentence with a 3-year probationary period. He must also pay BGN 111.96 in costs in the case. This is the first sentence for the teenager, who has completed the fifth grade.
The decision approving the agreement is final and not subject to appeal.
