The musical theater show about Nikolas Asimos entitled “Nicolas Asimos: Me with my ideas…” leaves Athens for a while and is presented at the Kyklos Theater on Monday 19 and Tuesday 20 February.
Andreas Zafeiris writes the text and the direction, and Vangelis Papachristos interprets the role of the “Saint of Exarchies”, unfolding the life, work and ideas of the uncompromising musician, songwriter and poet, “who could not stand the speed of the sun within of him, and like another Icarus, he burned flying high”, according to the actors of the show. However, he managed to leave us some of the most sensitive but also the wildest and essentially social lyrics of recent Greek music.
