A Cuban who goes by the name Yaisi turned to social networks to ask for help to continue caring for her father who is sick with cancer in Mexico.
The girl assured that her father, who responds to the name of Vladimir Karell, 72 years old, was diagnosed approximately two months ago with terminal cancer in the right kidney with metastasis to the back and lungs.
In that sense, the Cuban woman stated that in December her father began receiving treatment at a hospital for free, but the resources within the health facility have been depleted due to the high demand of patients, so they must obtain medicines and “outside” studies to continue with the treatments, “otherwise you must wait until the medicines are supplied again and there is availability to schedule appointments for MRIs, x-rays, laboratory studies, etc.”
“The wait can be weeks or even months and medicines and other things outside the hospital are very expensive,” he added in a post on his Instagram account.
Yaisi added that his father was given a life expectancy of two years and noted that cancer is a very expensive disease.
“The tumor has already metastasized, it is impossible to refer him for cancer (words of the doctor who treats him at the free hospital), the tumor is so large that it has already eaten his right kidney and obstructs his intestines, which makes it difficult for my father being able to evacuate normally, making him go to evacuate every 12 days with a lot of pain and difficulties and causing vomiting; Also as a result of the tumor, my father suffers from anemia, vertigo, kidney incontinence and problems retaining information, his mind is very slow and his body no longer has muscle mass or strength to move.

The Antillean woman stated that she needs help because she is the only person who takes care of her father, so it is difficult for her to take care of him full time.
“Because I have to take care of him all day, feed him, bathe him, give him his medicines, etc., I don’t have much time to work or do anything to continue covering these expenses, so that’s why I’m asking for monetary help to be able to pay the debts. of his medications, studies, laboratories and other needs of his illness, as well as a caregiver to help me so that I can go to work with the peace of mind that he is well taken care of,” Indian.
