Ahsania Mission Women Drug Addiction Treatment and Rehabilitation Center Counselor Meghwati Salma moderated the meeting as an expert panelist Dr. Central Drug Addiction Treatment Center Resident Psychiatrist. Rahanul Islam. He presented the main agenda of the meeting. He discussed what is drug addiction, what is the relationship between drug addiction and mental illness, various aspects of counseling in the treatment of patients with mental problems and the counseling services of the center.
Dr. Rahanul Islam said, long-term treatment and family support for drug dependent and mental patients in research-based treatment system is immense. The patient needs to be connected to the center in various ways to stay healthy in the post-treatment period. At the same time, according to the stage of the patient’s problem, long-term treatment increases the rate of recovery.
