New Delhi: The installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi is released every 4 months. PM Modi had released the 15th installment of PM Kisan Yojana to all eligible farmers on November 15, 2023. During his visit to Jharkhand, PM had released an amount of more than Rs 18,000 crore to more than 8 crore farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi. Now farmers are eagerly waiting for the 16th installment of Kisan Samman Nidhi. The government is going to release it soon. If you want to avail the benefit of this installment then it is mandatory to complete your eKYC. If this does not happen your installment may get stuck. OTP based eKYC is available on PMKSAN portal. Nearest CSC centers can be contacted for biometric based eKYC.
When will the 16th installment of PM Kisan be received?
According to media reports, PM Kisan installment is released every four months. The 15th installment was released in the month of November last year. In such a situation, the 16th installment is expected to be released between February and March. There is no fixed date for the release of the next installment yet and it is subject to change. PM Kisan (PM-Kisan) is the scheme of the Central Government to provide financial help to all the farmer families having agricultural land in the country to meet their financial needs in farming related works. Under the scheme, financial assistance is provided to the beneficiaries three times a year. Under PM Kisan Yojana, financial assistance of Rs 6000 per year per family is provided to all landholding farmer families. It is available in three equal installments of Rs 2000 every four months.
Due to these mistakes the installment may get stuck
If you do not get the land verification done within the stipulated time, you may be deprived of the benefit of the installment. It is necessary to get this work done as per the rules. It is also mandatory to get e-KYC done under PM Kisan Yojana. E-KYC has been introduced to prevent fraud and identify ineligible farmers. Even if you have not linked your Aadhar card with your bank account, you may be deprived of the benefit of installments. If there is any mistake in the application form filled by you, you may still be deprived of the installment.
