Czech hockey players David Pastrňák and David Rittich were the key figures in the overtime of the NHL game, in which Boston eventually lost 4:5 to Los Angeles.
Boston forward Pastrňák played a bad game.
Just 27 seconds after his teammate Van Riemsdyk opened the scoring in the 9th minute, the native of Havíř could double the home team’s lead.
After a beautiful individual action, he beat his compatriot Rittich in the Los Angeles goal, but the visitors took the coach’s challenge – and successfully. The goal was disallowed due to DeBrusk’s contact with the goalkeeper.
The Kings soon equalized, but Pastrňák at least got a little taste when he assisted on Van Riemsdyk’s second goal, which gave the Bruins the lead again.
In the second half, the home team bounced back to a difference of two goals, when Richard benefited from the good work of another Czech hockey player, Jakub Lauk, with his first goal of the season.

The third Czech Bruins forward Pavel Zacha went to the penalty bench at the end of the third act for a foul and with the expiration of the power play Kopitar equalized 95 seconds before the end, whose defenders left a punishing free space in front of the goalkeeper.

The goalkeeper first made a great move against DeBrusk. Right after that, it was Pastrňák who beautifully hooked the chance, who was prevented from finishing by Clarke’s foul at the last moment.
In the power play, the Czech gunner fired into the gallows, but Rittich cast a spell and neutralized the shot. Even Pastrňák’s fourth attempt in the match did not end in a goal.
With the numerical advantage ending, Pastrňák made an imprecise pass in the attacking zone, the guests quickly sent out Clark jumping from the penalty box, and the twenty-one-year-old Canadian, who also played in the Slovak extra league for Nové Zámky, converted a solo escape brilliantly.
Boston thus lost the fourth game in a row, all of them in front of their own audience.
