The two groups of influence in the judicial system – of Petyo Petrov – Pepi Euroto and Martin Bojanov – Notary, show how the mafia has reached the top of the state. This was stated by Iskren Arabadzhiev from PP-DB to BNT. According to him, the biggest problem in the judicial system is political influence.
“Here we see a total collapse of the institutions – to control and investigate such cases. One group works with real estate fraud, and the other – with seizure of companies. Here we see a failure of the SJC, DANS and the prosecutor’s office,” noted Arabadjiev.
“Political influence in the judicial system goes through the election of members of the SJC, the election of administrative heads. And what do they get in return – a lack of effective fight against corruption. For years, there has been no quality investigation into corruption in the political system,” the PP-DB MP also stated .
According to him, if the system is not changed so that there is an effective prosecution, the Euro and the Notary will be replaced by other persons. And the commission for the Notary public must shed light on the problems in the system.
