The Separate Combined Arms Army held an oath-taking ceremony for recruits, Day.Az reports with reference to the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.
At the ceremony, the blessed memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs was honored, and the National Anthem was played.
The recruits who joined the ranks of the Azerbaijan Army solemnly took the military oath and vowed to be loyal to the Motherland.
Speakers at the event congratulated the recruits on taking the military oath and wished them to be brave and disciplined in order to honorably fulfill their military duty to the Motherland.
Deputy Commander of the Separate Combined Arms Army, Major General Muhammad Hasanov, noted in his speech that the recruits who took the military oath will be given classes and lessons in accordance with their specialization; capable, professional commanders will apply all their knowledge and experience to form them into highly combat-ready defenders of the Motherland.
The oath-taking ceremony ended with the solemn passage of personnel in front of the podium to the sounds of a military march.
