The 100 meter butterfly final is scheduled for today, at 4:42 pm (Lisbon time), and Diogo Ribeiro will try for his second medal at the Swimming World Championships taking place in Doha. The Portuguese swimmer qualified yesterday for the 100 meter butterfly final, breaking the national record for the distance.
Diogo Ribeiro achieved the best time in the semi-finals, swimming in 51.30 seconds, taking 15 hundredths of a second off his previous national record.
This will be Diogo Ribeiro’s second final in Doha, after becoming world champion in the 50 meter butterfly
