The Cuban singer-songwriter Pedro Luis Ferrer will return to the island in 2024 to perform in some spaces in Havana and other provinces, as he promised in his last concert last year at the National Museum of Fine Arts.

Through his Facebook profile, Ferrer reported that “as I announced since my last performance at the Teatro de Bellas Artes in Havana, I have the intention of performing again on the Island this year in 2024. for the humble people who love my music.â€

This last presentation by the artist generated a series of comments due to the small space of the room, for which the troubadour assured that he would now like to offer his music “in some comfortable location that can accommodate a larger audience.”

In his text, the musician born in Yaguajay, stated that “I am not an artist of large squares, I have never projected myself like this, anywhere: I have always enjoyed modest spaces that allow me to be familiarly intimate with the public.”

Then, he added that he hoped to also perform in some theater in the interior of the country and that he would arrive on the island with his small band.

Regarding the date, he added that “it depends on the viable space managed by the National Center for Popular Music, an institution where I was working for years and which – as I have reiterated – always offered me respect and support.”

The author of songs like “Mariposa” or “El Abuelo Paco” told his followers that “as expected” he will offer his usual repertoire, “the songs that I composed and always sang, welcomed by Cuban society.” diverse and restless.
