BNP has announced programs on the occasion of Great Martyrs’ Day and International Mother Language Day.

The program includes half-masting of the national and party flags and hoisting of the black flag at the party’s central office in Nayapaltan at 6 am on February 21.

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the program at a press conference at the party’s central office in Nayapaltan in the capital on Monday (February 19).

Gathering of party leaders and activists in front of Newmarket Balaka cinema hall to participate in Prabhat Feri with black badges at 6 am on February 21 and march towards the Central Shaheed Minar after visiting the shrine of Bhasha Shaheed at Azimpur Graveyard and pay homage to the martyrs.

A discussion meeting will be held on behalf of the party at Ramnar Engineers Institute-Bangladesh Auditorium in the capital tomorrow on February 20 at 2 pm. Eminent intellectuals and language soldiers of the country will address the discussion meeting.

Also, national and party flags at half-mast and hoisting of black flags at party district/metropolitan/upazila/ police station and various unit offices across the country, paying respects in memory of language martyrs at Prabhat Feri and local Shaheed Minar and discussion meeting in memory of language martyrs.
