The Municipal Corporation Administration has issued an RC of Rs 2.68 crore for this recovery from Abdul Malik. A letter has been sent to the DM regarding recovery of this RC. Now Tehsil administration will recover money from Abdul Malik. On the other hand, the police arrested 10 accused on Monday.
Property worth crores of rupees was burnt to ashes in the violence that broke out in Banbhulpura area of Haldwani. About 70 vehicles were victims of arson. Abdul Malik, the mastermind of this disturbance, was arrested recently and now Rs 2.68 crore is to be recovered from Abdul Malik. On Monday, Municipal Commissioner Pankaj Upadhyay, while issuing the RC, has also sent a letter to the DM regarding the recovery. It has been said in the letter that during the violence that took place during the removal of government land in the possession of Abdul Malik, many vehicles of the corporation and goods were burnt.

The value of the goods lost in this arson is approximately Rs 2.44 crore. It has been said that a notice was pasted by the corporation at Abdul Malik’s house. They were also asked to deposit the money by January 15. After this the corporation made all efforts for recovery but till now the recovery has not been done. In the letter sent to the DM, it has been said that the Revenue Department collects 10 percent. Due to this, Rs 2.68 crore should be recovered from the owner, now the DM will get this recovery done through the Tehsil administration.
Malik’s property will be sold
This recovery will be done by selling the property of Abdul Malik, the mastermind of the violence that broke out in Haldwani. The Tehsil administration will do the recovery work in this. According to Municipal Commissioner Pankaj Upadhyay, if Abdul Malik does not pay the money, the owner’s bank accounts will be frozen. Also, recovery will be done by confiscating his property.
10 accused arrested
Police on Monday arrested 10 accused in the Haldwani violence case. A total of 68 accused have been arrested so far. Along with Abdul Malik and his son, two wanted accused are absconding. Sahajad and Faizan, who were arrested yesterday in the Haldwani violence, had made petrol bombs and given them to the bullies.
