The Uzbek judoka noted that her performance at the competition required tactical flexibility from her, given the presence of many titled rivals. One of them was two-time Olympic medalist Odette Guifrida, whom Keldiorova met in the final. “In fact, I don’t know due to what nuances I managed to win in Baku. I just wanted to show all my skills,” the athlete emphasized.
She added that Baku is becoming a happy city for her. “This is already the second gold medal for me in Azerbaijan. It’s very nice to perform here, and I feel the support of the fans. I feel great here, especially since our countries have a similar culture and language,” Keldiorova said in an interview with the International Judo Federation channel.
