However, now to reduce the dominance of Apple and Google, preparations are being made to launch indigenous operating system BharOS based smartphones. According to the report of ET Telecom, the indigenous BharOS operating system will be used in the Lava smartphone. It has been developed by IIT Madras. It is believed that with the use of BharOS based smartphones, the data of Indians will remain safe in India. Also, this initiative will strengthen India’s self-reliant India vision.

BharOS based smartphones will come in 6 months

According to the report, in the next 6 months there will be about 500 Lava designed and manufactured phones in India, which will work on BharOS. According to Rishi Bhatnagar, President of Lava’s Research and Development team, BharOS will completely change the Indian smartphone industry in the coming days. The smartphone will use BharOS operating system instead of Google’s Android OS. It is believed that if this development is successful, it will prove to be a game changer for the smartphone industry.
