American technology company OpenAI, which created the intelligent chatbot ChatGPT, has announced the launch of a new artificial intelligence (AI) tool called Sora.

As Day.Az reports with reference to Gazeta.ru, it is intended for creating videos using a text description, according to the official website of the enterprise.

According to the description, Sora “can create realistic and creative scenes based on text instructions” lasting up to one minute.

The company noted that the AI model imagines how described objects exist in the real world, and can also accurately interpret props and create “convincing characters that express powerful emotions.”

The neural network is also capable of generating video based on a still image, creating missing frames in finished videos or supplementing them.
OpenAI warned that Sora may make mistakes when modeling complex scenes.

The AI tool is currently being tested by so-called “red teams,” which evaluate the model for potential harm and risks.

“We will engage policymakers, educators and artists around the world to understand their challenges and identify positive uses for this new technology,” OpenAI said.
