Cuban Yuset Hernández, alias Moñi, was the fatal victim of a parachute accident this weekend in Miami.

Ironically, he ended up falling, leaving a daughter and grandson in Cuba, the homeland he abandoned in 2003.

According to Major Brad Smith of the Bradford County Sheriff’s Office, cited by local media, Hernandez’s body was located in a wooded area surrounding the Keystone Heights airport.

“On the last jump they were doing, one of the parachutist’s ramps did not fully deploy,” Smith explained. “We had it on video where you can see where he released that parachute and he was trying to open a secondary parachute and couldn’t do it in time.”
