New Delhi: Surat Police has summoned rising star of Indian cricket Abhishek Sharma in connection with the suicide of a model. In fact, a 28-year-old model named Tania Singh had committed suicide on February 19 in Surat, Gujarat. In this case, the police has now summoned Abhishek Sharma for questioning. This spin bowling all-rounder, who plays for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL, was reportedly in contact with the model. Tania committed suicide at Happy Elegance Apartment on Vesu Road, Surat.
Why did the police call Abhishek?
A new twist in this case came when Surat Police called Abhishek Sharma, who plays domestic cricket for Punjab, for questioning. Police have received news that Tania was in contact with the Indian cricketer, but communication between the two had stopped for some time. Police want to know about the relationship between Abhishek and Tania. Wants to understand when and how both of them came in contact with each other. Police Inspector BU Barad of Vesu Police Station told the media that ‘According to the call details, Tania and Abhishek Sharma were not in touch with each other for some time. Abhishek has been called to gather information about Tania. On the other hand, as soon as the news of Tania Singh’s suicide broke, there was a sensation in the entire city of Surat.
