Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal’s elder daughter Mahika Rampal wants to follow her father’s path to acting. Arjun Rampal gave this information in an interview to India Today.
Arjun Rampal said at the beginning of Aalacharita, ‘My elder daughter Mahika wants to become an actress. Acted in dramas in school life and performed well. He entertains everyone in our house. You have seen this, I used to do this as a child. You also want to be a center of attraction, that’s how you want to be an actor.’
Mahika graduated from a film school in London. Arjun Rampal said, ‘Mahika has completed her graduation from London’s Metfilm School. I told him, he should see how a film is made. This campus has complete setup. Writing, directing, producing, editing, acting, camera, lighting—they’ll teach you everything. So one day you’ll hold the boom, design the set; Will give instructions another day. So you will learn everything and respect everything.’
Arjun told his daughter that the acting profession is not easy. In his words – “I told Mahika, this work is not easy. She is a very mature and sensitive girl. Mahika told me, ‘When your career was not going well, I saw your pains, disappointments as well as your ups and downs. But I want to do it. Because I enjoy it.’ So I told him, that’s the most important thing, if you have it in your heart, if you really love it and if you can be honest about it, then you can pursue it as a career. Only then can you do something special. But you have to train, you have to work hard.”
‘What I did not get, I can give you. I can advise you from what I have learned. I can share my acquired knowledge with you. Because I have gone through many experiences. But your journey is yours. There are not many people on this journey, it is a lonely journey.’ Arjun Rampal said.
Arjun Rampal got married to Bengali model Meher Jessia in 1998. They officially announced their divorce in 2018. This family has two daughters named Mahika Rampal and Mayra Rampal. Arjun Rampal met South African model-actress Gabriela Demetriades in 2018 through a friend. Later it turns into friendship and love. Gabriela became the mother of Arjun Rampal’s child in 2019. The first child has been named Arik Rampal. After 4 years a son comes into their life. Arjun-Gabriela have been living-in for a long time.
