Sevilla star Sergio Ramos sent a threatening message to his former club, Real Madrid, before the two teams faced off today in the 26th round of La Liga.
Ramos posted a picture on his social media accounts and commented, “After many years, the most special match, and the usual goal is to win.”
This match will be Ramos’s first return to the Santiago Bernabeu, after his departure from the team in the summer of 2021 and his move to Paris Saint-Germain.
Spanish press reports stated that Real Madrid is preparing a surprise for Ramos, and he will be honored in the match.
For his part, Sergio Ramos recently stated that he will not celebrate if he scores against Real Madrid.
Ramos began his career in the youth ranks of Seville, before leaving for Real Madrid in 2005, and remained in the Merengue shirt for 16 years, during which he achieved all possible titles.
Ramos played for two years with Paris Saint-Germain, before returning last summer to the Andalusian team.
