After that he distanced himself from Ranji Trophy, due to which he was removed from the BCCI’s central contract. After all this, Ishaan has now made another big mistake, on which BCCI can take action. After keeping himself away from Ranji Trophy, Ishan Kishan has returned to the field in the DY Patil domestic tournament.
Ishan Kishan’s comeback was nothing special. When Ishaan came on the field to bat, he definitely hit one or two attractive shots, but what caught everyone’s attention was his helmet. Ishaan used the helmet in the match which had the BCCI logo on it. This carelessness of Ishaan can now put him in trouble.
What are the rules regarding helmets?
BCCI has made strict rules regarding helmets a few years ago. No player can use a helmet with BCCI logo or Team India jersey in any domestic cricket match. If a player wears the helmet given by Team India in a domestic tournament match, then he has to hide the logo by applying tape, which Ishaan did not do.
Apart from Ishaan, Tilak Verma also used the helmet given by Team India, but he had hidden the logo with tape, but Ishaan Kishan ignored it. In such a situation, the board can now take a tough decision on this mistake of Ishaan.
Even the umpire did not pay attention
