Preparations for the Third Diplomatic Forum have been completed in Antalya, at which regional, global and thematic issues will be discussed from March 1 to 3.

As Day.Az reports with reference to the organizing committee of the event, up to 4 thousand guests from more than 100 countries, including about 20 heads of state and government, are invited to the forum, held under the patronage of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

According to the representative of the Turkish Foreign Ministry Oncu Keceli, the forum on the topic “Emphasis on diplomacy in times of crisis” will be attended by the heads of foreign affairs departments of more than 60 states, as well as representatives of about 80 international and regional organizations.

It is planned to hold 50 different sessions and panel discussions.

It is expected that President Erdogan will hold a number of bilateral meetings with representatives of individual countries on the sidelines of the forum.

In 2023, the Diplomatic Forum in Antalya was postponed due to the consequences of the devastating February earthquakes in Turkey.

In 2022, the forum was attended by 17 heads of state, 80 foreign ministers and representatives of almost 40 international organizations.
