The bank job, the “flash” and the choice of chaos

by time news

Takis Papamattheiou hosted the show Studio 4 on Friday afternoon (1/3). The actor spoke about his choice to pursue acting while he was already studying law and working in a bank.

“While I was in law school I worked in a bank with a fat tzatsiliki. At one point I had a bite and said “have I seen my death?”, “I have seen that I will end my life in a bank even as a manager? No!”, and I chose chaos.

I got into acting from a show in law school. They were playing Lysistrata, it was directed by Giorgos Lazanis and I went to play music. He asked me to play a role and said “what are you studying? Legal? I’ll see you in the theater,” he said.

At another point he stated that “The lens in general is a means of deception. Doing TV and acting is another profession, not another kind of acting,” he said.

He added: “what an actor can give they are not seen on TV. On TV, I mostly said no.”
