The last bow to the great actor Ilias Logothetis.
The Philharmonic Orchestra from Lefkada, the island he was born and loved so much, accompanies Ilias Logothetis on the narrow journey.
His son, Alexandros Logothetis, his wife, Maria Zahari, relatives, friends, colleagues said the last “goodbye” to the charismatic performer. Ilias Logothetis was a man of spirit, distinguished, noble, with special education. He served acting, never deviating from his principles.
His deep blue gaze, and his characteristic voice was the ticket to the art theater. He entered without exams and without actually studying. He recited two sonnets and captivated the committee. As he said, he didn’t want to be an actor, he was enchanted by opera.
There were three great loves of his life, poetry, love and opera. He studied with Karolos Kuhn. His first appearance in the cinema was in 1970, in the project “Babylonia”. TV series, theater and film roles followed.
Elias Logothetis left his mark in every performance. Just last year, at the age of 84, he participated in the last cycle of the “Other Me” series by Sotiris Tsafoulias.
Ilias Logothetis performed great roles in theater, cinema and television with passion, ethics and honesty.
He closed the door behind him forever, leaving behind his work.
