The beloved singer and creator Roni Alter talked about the re-performance of the song ‘Bikur Molad’ by David Broza and Yonathan Geffen: “It saved me in the first two months”
The talented and respected singer and creator Roni Alter spoke with Udi Segal and Tal Shalu on 103fm and shared the renewed and exciting performance she released of the song ‘Bikur Moled’ by David Broza and Yonathan Gefen.
According to her, “I have lived in Paris for 12 years and being there on October 7th was a very challenging experience. This feeling that everything is normal outside made me not leave the house. This disconnection was very difficult. I sang this song all the time, because I felt that distills all my pain. So I felt a strong need to record it, because it saved me in the first two months.”
Later, she further shared that “at first I tried to explain to the foreigners around me what we were going through, but I saw that they could not at all begin to understand the conflict and what we had been through. So me and my Israeli friends simply closed in on ourselves and were in front of the news all day. I am now in Israel and this is my first visit mine since October 7. I finally feel a connection – it’s nice and good to be here.”
