Galeno was very prominent in the Dragons’ defeat of Benfica and recorded his happiness in the usual statements on Sport TV’s flash-interview. “It’s an important victory. We can’t stop here. Our thoughts are always up there and we’re going to fight until the end”, noted the Dragons winger, completing with an overall analysis of the game: “We knew we wouldn’t It was going to be an easy game, but we also had the idea that we could make the game easy. The team worked well, we studied the Benfica team well and in the end we ended up achieving a great result and leaving here with the victory.”
“That’s the secret of being able to listen well to what the manager is telling us and each person knowing exactly what they had to do. It was another game in which the team prepared very well and this one was no different”, added Galeno, making a point to share the man of the match award among the team.
“I think the merit of this award is not just mine, it belongs to the whole team”, he focused, assuming his decisive role in this game, as had already happened in the Champions League, against Arsenal.
“I always try to work as hard as possible in all competitions. I did well to help my teammates and today I must congratulate the entire team for their performance. We played a great game and the most important thing was the victory”, he concluded.
