Indore: Police has revealed the robbery of Rs 5 lakh that took place in Chhoti Gwaltoli area of the district. The accused had committed the robbery to meet his girlfriend’s expenses. The police have arrested 3 robbers involved in the robbery. Two lakh forty seven thousand rupees and the bike looted from the accused have been seized.
In fact, on February 28, when a person named Suresh had come to fill petrol at Anand petrol pump located in Chhoti Gwaltoli police station area, two bike-riding criminals looted a bag full of notes kept in the trunk of his Activa and ran away. The entire incident was captured in the CCTV footage, since then the police was busy investigating the case. The police team searched all the CCTV footage of the route of the incident, in which two unknown persons were seen chasing the complainant Sunil Sharma on a bike. And the same accused were also seen in the CCTV video footage of the incident site.

On the information of informer, police arrested Dheeraj alias Chintu resident of Dewas, Amin Shaikh resident of Dewas, and Ajay Chauhan resident of Haat Piplia. During interrogation, the accused told that accused Dheeraj alias Chintu knows Deepak Bhami, the owner of complainant Sunil Sharma. The accused already knew that Deepak had a lot of money from transactions. During police interrogation, the accused told that he had committed the robbery to meet his girlfriend’s expenses. Police have seized two lakh forty seven thousand rupees, a black colored bangle and the motorcycle used in the robbery from the possession of the accused.
