In Azerbaijan, the training of persons with special needs for social protection in educational institutions on a paid basis will be paid for from the state budget.

As Day.Az reported on Wednesday, this was noted in the amendment to the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Education”.

According to the change, tuition fees for the following persons will be paid from the state budget of Azerbaijan:

– children who have lost their parents and were left without parental care, studying in state, municipal and private higher, secondary specialized and vocational educational institutions;

– family members of martyrs studying in state, municipal and private higher, secondary specialized and vocational educational institutions;

– persons who received the title “War Veteran” for participation in hostilities for the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan, studying in state, municipal and private higher, secondary special and vocational educational institutions;

– persons with 61-100 percent impairment of body functions, as well as persons under the age of 18 years, with an established disability, studying in state, municipal and private higher and secondary specialized educational institutions,

– children of persons whose disabilities were established in connection with the protection of the territorial integrity, independence and Constitutional system of the Azerbaijan Republic, and those who died in the name of freedom, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Azerbaijan Republic, missing during a military operation and declared dead by the court, studying in state , municipal and private higher and secondary specialized educational institutions;

– citizens of the Azerbaijan Republic who have the status of internally displaced persons in accordance with the law of the Azerbaijan Republic “On the status of refugees and internally displaced persons (persons internally displaced)”, studying in state higher and secondary specialized educational institutions;

– persons under the age of 20 years studying in a vocational educational institution and having parents with an established disability due to 81-100 percent impairment of body functions, whose monthly income is below the subsistence level;

– persons under 18 years of age resettled from exclusion and resettlement zones, including children in the womb on the day of resettlement, as well as children born after April 26, 1986 from one of the parents who became a participant in the liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident, or injured as a result of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and with a likelihood of direct exposure to radioactive radiation, studying in vocational educational institutions.
