Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gaibov met with the heads of regional youth and sports departments, directors of Olympic complexes, Youth Houses and heads of Children and Youth Sports Schools.
As Idman.biz reports, opening the event held in Guba – the “sports capital” of our country for 2024 – the head of the department congratulated everyone on March 5 – the Day of Physical Culture and Sports, wishing them success.
Advisor to the working group on the development of sports strategy in our country, Slovenian specialist Edvard Kolar spoke and spoke about the work done.
Activities in the field of youth and sports and future plans were discussed at the meeting. After this, the head of the research and design center of the ministry, Oktay Guliyev, spoke about the strategy and research on employment in sports, and also informed about the preliminary results of surveys conducted in the capital and regions.
After listening to the proposals of the event participants, the minister gave appropriate recommendations in the direction of involving teenagers and young people in sports.
