Blinken from Davos: Middle Eastern countries want our presence in the region

/ US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said today, Wednesday, that almost all Middle Eastern countries are committed to the United States remaining in the region.

This came during Blinken’s speech before the annual World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, held from January 15-19, according to the Russian “Novosti” agency.

The US Secretary of State explained, “In a region like the Middle East, where there are deep and painful challenges, I hear from almost every country that they want the United States to be present in the region, to be at the table, and to play an important and leadership role.”
