This Tuesday, March 5, users of the social networks Instagram and Facebook began to report failures, according to the ‘Downdetector’ page in Colombia the failure occurred around 10:28 in the morning.
On both networks, user sessions appear expired and do not allow logging in again.
Some people have reported the error in other countries such as Brazil, Puerto Rico, Mexico and the United States. So far there is no official report from Meta, the company that is in charge of the conglomerate of these two social networks.

So far, WhatsApp, which is also owned by Meta, continues to function normally in its application version and in its desktop version.

So far the most frequent problems reported by Facebook users are 86 percent with the login, 13 percent with the application and 1 percent with their profile.
As for Instagram, users reported a drop of 37 percent on profiles, 34 percent on the website and 29 percent with the server.
