Having broken down on Tuesday afternoon, Meta’s various platforms seemed to be working again around 6:00 p.m.

Meta was hit by another outage in 2023.

The Meta company’s various social networks (Facebook, Messenger and Instagram) were affected by a global outage this Tuesday from 4:30 p.m. Whatsapp, on the other hand, does not seem to have been affected.
Some users were disconnected from Facebook and unable to reconnect for approximately 1.5 hours, while Instagram feed could not be refreshed. The bug on both social networks seemed to be resolved around 6:00 p.m.
“Earlier today, a technical issue prevented users from accessing some of our services. We resolved this issue as quickly as possible for everyone who was affected, and we apologize for the inconvenience caused,” a spokesperson for the group, Andy Stone, told X, less than an hour after recognized the fault.

At the same time, still on X, Internet users had a field day commenting on the technical difficulties linked to the outage with a touch of mockery.
