To achieve a good result at competitions, you need to train a lot, so it’s not yet possible to find time for a walk around the city.
As Day.Az reports, Nikolay Bozic, a participant in the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup, an athlete from Slovenia, told Trend about this on Thursday.
“This is not my first visit to Baku, I was here two years ago. Last year, due to injury, unfortunately, I could not fly to Baku for the competition. I like the organization of the competition in Baku, everything goes smoothly, well. I’m all here “I devote my time to training. To achieve a good result at competitions, you need to focus more on preparation, not be distracted, and spend more time in the training room,” Bozic noted.
According to the athlete from Slovenia, the World Cup in Baku has strong participants and great competition.
“After Baku, the next competitions will be held in Doha (Qatar), but I still can’t say for sure whether I will take part in them. Before Baku, I competed at the World Cups in Cairo (Egypt) and Cottbus (Germany),” added the gymnast.
It should be noted that the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup is taking place at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku on March 7-10. Representatives from 67 countries take part in the competition.
Azerbaijan is represented at the men’s artistic gymnastics competition by Nikita Simonov, Ivan Tikhonov, Rasul Ahmedzade, Mansum Safarov, Murad Agarzayev, and in the women’s artistic gymnastics competition by Nazanin Teymurova.
