by time news

Fortunately, there were no injuries in the explosion in a bakery on Wednesday in Hartkirchen (Eferding district). However, the force of the detonation was so strong that parts of the facade were scattered up to 50 meters around the building.

The explosion shook the community around 3 p.m. Windows of neighboring houses were destroyed due to the blast wave and flying parts of the building. And the damage to the bakery itself is extensive.

The area was cordoned off over a large area and entry into the area was officially prohibited. Fire investigators from the State Criminal Police Office began the investigation and are supported by a fire expert from the fire prevention office.

According to initial findings, there were problems with an oil furnace in the company’s basement before the explosion.
