The most important event for Cuban video clips, the Lucas Awards, is approaching, and the list of nominees for this year is now complete, in which despite the difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, a record number of awards were received. 525 audiovisuals.
Another novelty was the new category Best Homemade Video, which joined the 32 existing ones in this 23rd edition of the contest and thus provides a space for creation in conditions of isolation.
Here in Cuba Noticias 360 today we share the list of nominees, but not before highlighting those who received the greatest number of nominations, among them, and as usual, the directors Joseph Ros and José Rojas, along with X Alfonso, who once again calls the attention after years of absence, and he does so with his project Inside, returning to the fray as an artist and director.
Among the musicians repeating in the greatest number of sections is also X Alfonso, along with him, the guys from Real Project, with three videos from their album tribute to the ICAIC Sound Experimentation Group.
