MANAGEMENT.

The Pastaza Ombudsman’s Office has sent an exhortation to the Board of Directors and the Manager of the Pastaza EP Transcommunity, not to approve regulations that contravene legal provisions, transparency and access to public information, hindering the human right of the citizen. In addition, repeal the resolution charging USD 2.60 for copies of documents.

Mónica Salinas, manager of the Pastaza Transcommunity.

This is stated in the statement from the Pastaza Ombudsman’s Office signed by Yajaira Curipallo, head of the institution, indicating that said resolution limits the exercise of the right of access to public information.

The manager of the Transcomunidad, in a press conference, stated that these values have not been approved during her administration, but from previous administrations. But they will analyze the aforementioned exhortation and the decision will be made by the Board of Directors.

He also explained that, due to this high cost of copies, which are high volumes of sheets, it has been decided to deliver digital copies with a lower value, so that it does not affect users who frequently require copies for their processes. .

The Manager also indicated that the Transcomunidad does not have a budget to carry out its activities, which is why it requires activities that generate income for signage, placement of traffic lights, among other activities in favor of traffic and transportation, she indicated.
