jpnn.comJAKARTA – The Parliamentary Journalists Coordinator (KWP) officially opened a bazaar entitled ‘UMKM Fest Journalists Concerned with MSMEs’.

This bazaar is a forum for journalists, especially KWP members, to promote their products or businesses.

KWP Chairman Ariawan said the bazaar was a form of concern from KWP management towards members. He invited journalists who had businesses to introduce their products at the bazaar.

“Usually journalists always cover bazaar activities, but never hold bazaars, that’s why we support journalist friends who have businesses, to publicize their businesses, to be bazaared more or less like that,” said Ariawan when giving a speech at the opening of the bazaar at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta , Tuesday (5/3/2024).

Not only that, Ariawan together with the KWP management provided several stands or food stalls specifically for journalists. Journalists who cover Parliament can eat food for free.

“And today’s friends who are reporting, later we will prepare friends who have administrators and KWP members, have businesses and can eat for free there, we will just pay and count,” he said.

Ariawan even joked that currently, only milk for KWP members is not free. “For more or less a year now, we have always given free meals to journalist friends, maybe next year we will have free meals and free milk,” said Ariawan, greeted by laughter from the journalists who attended the opening.

Apart from the bazaar, he said, KWP has also scheduled compensation activities for orphans. It is possible that the event will be held on March 22, 2024.
