Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang led his team, Olympique Marseille, to defeat its guest, Villarreal, 4-0, in the first leg of the Europa League quarter-final.
The Gabonese striker scored two goals, the first from a penalty kick in the 42nd minute, and the second 14 minutes after the start of the second half.
According to the Squaka statistics network, Aubameyang is the player who has scored the most goals in all European championships this season, with (9) goals.
There is no other player better than Aubameyang, whether in the Champions League, Europa League or Conference League.
She also indicated that the former Arsenal and Barcelona player achieved his 32nd goal in the Europa League, enhancing his record in the tournament.
She added: “Aubameyang has now scored the most goals in both versions of the tournament, the FA Cup and the European League, surpassing the Swedish Henrik Larsson.”
