jpnn.com – JAKARTA – The Cimanggis-Cibitung toll road, as part of the Jakarta Outer Ring Road or JORR 2 network, will be inaugurated in the near future.
Spokesperson for the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Endra S Atmawidjaja said that if the toll road section is completed, it will be a good addition to Jakarta metropolitan land transportation services.
“Hopefully this will be inaugurated in the near future. The Cimanggis-Cibitung toll road section is expected to be completed,” said Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) spokesperson Endra S Atmawidjaja in Jakarta, Saturday (9/3).
The Cimanggis-Cibitung Toll Road is part of the JORR 2 network structure which connects toll roads in the Jabodetabek metropolitan area as a center for national activities.
The JORR 2 toll road network consists of the Cengkareng – Batu Ceper – Kunciran toll road (14.2 km), Kunciran – Serpong toll road (11.4 km), Serpong – Cinere toll road (10.1 km).
Then, it continues with the Cinere – Jagorawi Toll Road (14.6 km), Cimanggis – Cibitung Toll Road (26.47 km) and Cibitung – Cilincing Toll Road (34 km).
If the Cimanggis-Cibitung Toll Road has been inaugurated, the JORR 2 Toll Road network will be fully connected. “God willing, the JORR 2 Toll Road network will be fully connected in the near future,” said Endra.
The JORR 2 Toll Network is one solution to reduce traffic congestion on the Cikampek Toll Road section that goes to Jakarta or goes to Bogor without having to go through Jakarta.
The Cimanggis-Cibitung toll road, as part of the Jakarta Outer Ring Road or JORR 2 network, will be inaugurated in the near future.
