On March 9, the third day of the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup competition started at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku, Day.Az reported on Saturday with reference to Trend.
Today will be the final competition in exercises on five apparatuses. Winners will be determined among representatives of men’s artistic gymnastics in floor exercises, parallel bars and rings exercises, and among representatives of women’s artistic gymnastics – in exercises on uneven bars and vault.
It should be noted that the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup is taking place at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku (March 7-10). About 300 athletes from 67 countries take part in the competition.
The World Cup in Baku serves as a qualifier for the 2024 Olympic Games. Based on the results of the competition, ten sets of awards will be awarded. Also at the competition, the gymnasts who receive the highest score for their performance will be awarded the AGF Trophy.
