The Prosecution Bureau of the Sharon Region Police today (Monday) filed an indictment with the Magistrate’s Court in Netanya against Gabi Hanani, 30 years old from Holon, and his friend Omri Moist, 27 years old from Netanya, for attacking the owners of the “Lehm Habita” food stand in Netanya because they refused to allow them to park in the parking lot of the business.

The incident happened last week. The two arrived on Gibori Israel Street in the city and asked to park their car in the parking lot of the business owned by Vicky Ezra and his son Manny. The son Manny had an argument in front of the two and at one point Hanani approached him, pulled out a knife and threatened: “This is not over, see what will happen to you.” Vicky’s father turned to Hanani and asked him to leave the place, he in response said to him: “You need to educate your son, Vicky go away because there will be an incident.”

In the afternoon, the two returned to the scene armed with Bloom and a 10 cm long kitchen knife, accompanied by the criminal Roi Bunker. Bunker remained outside the business. They noticed Ezra’s sons who were there starting to close the business, then Hanani and Moist shouted at the son of Meni: “You came to close, son Fuck, you came to close.”

“They attacked us with kicks and punches,” repeated Ezra’s sons, “one of them attacked us with an iron rod.” Father Vicky who noticed two attacking his children shouted at them: “Why why”.

A passer-by called the police hotline 100 to report the incident. The patrol officers of the Netanya station who were in the area arrived quickly and arrested Hanani and Moist. Hanani hit the policeman to prevent him from handcuffing him. The other officer struggled with Moist until he was able to handcuff him.

The indictment attributes to the two offenses of assault, threats, possession of a knife and those, simple assault, interfering with a police officer while performing his duty. The evidence against the accused includes security camera videos, the testimony of the son Manny, his brother David and the father Vicky about the attack. However, Hanani and Moist maintained their right to remain silent in their investigations and did not answer the questions of the investigators who bombarded them with the evidence against them.
