Criminals threw an explosive device tonight (Tuesday) at a house on Dror Street in the city of Netanya, where the owner of the “Lehm Habita” food stand lives. This, allegedly as revenge for the fact that he and his two sons testified with the police against two criminals who attacked them last week at the business, with a crowbar and a ten-centimeter-long knife.
Large forces of police arrived at the scene tonight and collected findings and security camera videos from the scene of the incident. No suspects have yet been arrested. The suspicion is that a masked man on a motorcycle threw the load at the house. The yard caught fire and firefighters who arrived at the scene were able to extinguish the fire.
Police officials estimate that criminals were involved in throwing the luggage as revenge for the fact that the father and sons testified, and in fact helped file the indictment against Gabi Hanani and Omari Moist for the violent attack, which escalated because they were refused to park in the parking lot. Even the police admit that without the testimony, the indictment would probably not have been filed.
“Our suspicion is that the criminals are imposing their terror on the father and his children so that they will not testify in court against them and they can be released,” claims a senior police official. “We will do everything to locate the suspects in the act. This is a very serious case.”
