Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received the delegation led by Kazbek Taisaev, the first deputy chairman of the Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
The Deputy Prime Minister welcomed the guests and highlighted the ongoing development of relations with Russia, including the cooperation of legislative bodies.
During the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan presented the situation created as a result of the recent large-scale aggression of Azerbaijan against the sovereign territory of Armenia, stressing the need for the withdrawal of Azerbaijani armed forces from the sovereign territory of Armenia and the unconditional maintenance of the ceasefire regime.
Current issues of the bilateral cooperation agenda in economy, culture and other areas of mutual interest were also discussed. The significant growth recorded in the direction of mutual trade in the current year was emphasized with satisfaction.
Reference was also made to cooperation in a multilateral format, in particular, thoughts were exchanged on programs and initiatives implemented within the framework of the CIS and EAEU.
