New Delhi: Following the orders of the Supreme Court, State Bank of India (SBI) submitted all the details of electoral bonds to the Election Commission of India before the end of working hours on Tuesday evening. Now the Commission will have to upload the information about electoral bonds given by the bank on its website by 5 pm on March 15. So that this information can become common. In this matter, a Commission official said that the State Bank of India has handed over the data of electoral bonds to the Election Commission of India. Right now work is being done on this. Sources say that the details of electoral bonds have been given to the Commission by SBI. That’s pretty raw. It will be made suitable for uploading on the website. Only then will it be uploaded. However, the only information given by the Commission was that SBI has handed over the data of electoral bonds to them. Apart from this, no information was officially shared by the Commission regarding whether the Commission will upload this data on its website by 5 pm on March 15 or even before that.

In this case, on 15 February and 11 March, the Supreme Court had ordered SBI to hand over the information about electoral bonds to the Commission by 12 March. If the orders were not followed, a case of contempt of court could be filed against the bank. In view of this, the bank handed over all this data to the Commission before the end of working hours on the evening of March 12 as per the orders of the Supreme Court. Now the further work of the Commission is to upload the data given by the bank on its website by March 15.
