ChatGPT is proving to be a revolutionary productivity tool for workers in three specific sectors: coding, education, and healthcare.
This has been confirmed by Sam Altman himself, CEO of OpenAI, in an exclusive interview with Bill Gates.
Called Unconfused Me, Gates has interviewed none other than Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, with whom he shared his concerns about the revolution driven by AI, warning that it will be the fastest in the history of humanity.
Aside from Altman expressing concern that the speed with which society will have to adapt and how the job market will change could be “potentially terrifying,” there was also room to talk about the capabilities of the company’s famous chatbot, ChatGPT.
Specifically, its creator wanted to emphasize that current artificial intelligence systems “certainly cannot do all the jobs” for you. But there are three fields in which you could benefit a lot from this tool, as explained.

ChatGPT can help programmers finish their work up to three times faster, according to OpenAI CEO Sam Altman. The system can help with tasks such as review written code for errors, write test cases, answer questions you have, and even generate new code on its own.
“Coding is probably the area of productivity growth we are most excited about today. Right now, it is massively deployed and in scaled use,” says Altman.
However, it is important to note that ChatGPT is not perfect. A 2023 study by researchers at Stanford and the University of California, Berkeley, found that GPT-4 gives incorrect answers quite a few times, calling this technology “dumb.”
Therefore, programmers using the chatbot must be quite cautious and always verify everything the chatbot says. In the end it is easy to know if you first try, for example, that code that was generated for you. Despite the basic drawbacks it may have, there are many who applaud this technology and the time it saves them.
