Rivadeneira pointed out that this increase in business openings is part of a strategy to rescue the La Mariscal neighborhood, a place with a rich centuries-old history. Known for being the home of universities and a nerve center for financial, hospitality and tourism businesses.

The zonal administrator highlighted that this sector has an active demographic, with approximately 200,000 people fluctuating daily within the neighborhood. This constant influx has contributed to the increased commercial activity and renewed interest in the properties.

La Mariscal Zonal Administration is implementing measures to organize public spaces and control alcohol consumption in urban areas, especially near universities. That is why daily operations are being carried out to control the drinkers. In January, 750 people who consumed alcohol in public places were removed.
